The Glynne has all the potential to be one of the best pubs around but I feel it has lost its way over the last few months. Firstly, the food is exceptional as is the decor, you won't find a better meal or a more sophisticated and stylish pub. The range of drinks is also good and ignore the reviews on pricing, I feel the Glynne is priced extremely fair for the level of produce. Now the downside; there is just a complete lack of any customer service. We have been good customers for a number of years, hosting events and regularly drinking after dog walks, The amount of times we have walked through the door and to not be greeted by any of the staff is just strange. There isn't even a "what would you like" more so a blank stare until you tell the staff what you would like. There also seems to be a disconnect between the staff and kitchen, 5+ times in recent months we have been turned down for food, simple bar snacks such as a bowl of chips was turned down because the kitchen was too busy despite the dining room empty. A Sunday roast was declined at 1330 because again, they were too busy despite the pub being virtually empty, We were told a big party was arriving later, we stayed until 17:00 and they never did. I have always loved the Glynne, whether they are that much of a village institute they feel the business will always be there. I'm unsure. I just hope for an improved friendly customer service experience to accompany the best looking pub in Flintshire and exceptional food, it could be perfect.less

I attended for the first time in the evening and my experience was: From the moment you walk into The Glynne Arms its atmosphere is sophisticated and its interior design has been thoroughly thought out to create an ambiance as soon as you enter. Greeted by friendly staff who were quick to serve and deliver excellent customer service. Compliments to the male waiter with blonder hair who delivered the highest customer service creating an ambience and was very helpful kind to recommend dishes and knowledgable, he was very excellent at reading the room and took order at the right moments and deserves recognition from management or area managers as his service was fantastic. The food and drinks was exquisite and flavoursome. The evening represented luxury and fine dining at its best. Had such a great experience visiting here in the evening I would highly recommend.less

We enjoyed an early evening meal, mid week. One of our party has allergies and the staff were very helpful, both when we rang ahead to see if we could comfortably eat there and also when we arrived. Would go again.less
